Before you dismiss this recipe, let me assure you I was skeptical when I saw these on a restaurant menu. Upon the recommendation of a friend, we decided to give them a try. We were hooked, and I knew I had to try to make these at home.
Siracha sauce, to taste
Slice the cheese into 1/4 inch thick slices, slightly smaller than the wonton wrapper. Lay it diagonally across the wrapper. Slice the dill pickles into 2 1/2 inch spears, about 1/4 inch thick. Dry pickles. Lay on top of cheese. Wet all 4 sides of the wrapper and fold like an envelope. Deep fry until golden brown, about 1 to 2 minutes. Serve with dipping sauce.
