Here’s a family favorite. I like to use the combination of butter, margarine and peanut butter to get a cookie with the perfect texture.  This is a large recipe, I have scooped out the dough onto waxed paper lined cookie sheets and frozen them for a few hours. Store in a sealed container and then bake from frozen, they may need a few extra minutes.

2 Teaspoons Vanilla

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease cookie sheets. In a large bowl, cream together the margarine, butter, peanut butter, brown sugar and white sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla. Combine the flour, oats, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Stir into the creamed mixture. Mix in chocolate chips, and candy-coated chocolate pieces. Drop by tablespoonful onto the prepared cookie sheets. Bake for 10-11 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the edges are golden.
