For those of you who aren’t chocolate lovers, here’s a sugar cookie crust, fruit topped version of a dessert pizza.

Fruit Pizza

½ cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1-¼ cup flour
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
½ teaspoons baking soda
¼ teaspoons salt
1 package (8 Oz. Size) cream cheese
1/2 cup icing sugar
2 teaspoons Vanilla
2 cups sliced fruit (blueberries, strawberries, kiwi, etc.)

Preheat oven 350ºF. In large bowl, cream butter and 3/4 cup sugar. Add the egg. Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Add dry ingredients to the butter mixture ingredients. Press dough into a pizza stone or pan. Bake 8-12 minutes. Beat together the cream cheese, remaining 1/2 cup sugar and vanilla. Spread onto the cooled crust. Top with fruit.
